Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 OSHAWA, ON - The St. Clair Saints came to town on Saturday and their bats were too hot as the Lords fall to 5-5 on the season.

St. Clair took an early and ultimately insurmountable lead before the Lords even went up to bat, taking a six-run lead in the top of the first.

Through the next two innings, the Saints would add 10 more runs to make it 16-1 going into the bottom of the third. However, the Lords proved they are squad with a lot of fight in them.

In the bottom of the third, Jacob Mahoney (Toronto, ON) hit a single with the bases loaded to send Mason Wright (Courtice, ON) across home plates. Mahoney, Eddie Borutskie (Oshawa, ON), Tyler Chong (Markham, ON), Erik Smith (Whitby, ON) and Blake Jolicouer (Whitby, ON) would all score to post a six-run inning of Durham's own and make it a 16-7 game.

Both sides traded off a single run each in the fourth inning and St. Clair added one more in the top of the fourth to finish the game in five innings, earning an 18-8 win.

In the second game of the afternoon, the Lords kept the game scoreless through the first inning before the Saints opened the scoring with three runs in the top of the second.

After taking a 5-0 lead, the Lords found their spot on the scoreboard in the bottom of the fourth as Cruz Lopez (Brooklin, ON) hit a sacrifice fly to allow Jolicoeur to score. Facing a 9-1 deficit in the sixth inning, Borutskie and Chong found their way home to add a pair of runs.

Durham were unable to hold off the Saints as St. Clair handed the Lords their second loss of the day, this time in a 12-3 fashion.

Chong finished the game 2-for-3 at the plate with a run, while Borutskie, Jolicoeur, Mahoney, Ethan Drews (Clarington, ON) and Nick King (Whitby, ON) each registered a hit.

The Lords are back at it on Sunday afternoon for another doubleheader, this time hosting the Lambton Lions at 1:00 and 3:00 PM.
