Box Score KINGSTON, ON - The Durham Lords stay undefeated through their fifth match as the #12 nationally ranked Lords blank the St. Lawrence Surge in Kingston on Friday.
Durham outshot St. Lawrence 14-1 in the first half, with eight of those shots going on target. The Lords earned their place on the scoreboard first as Jaime Pye (Oshawa, ON) gave the visitors the lead in the 26th minute.
Pye added a second goal in the 67th minute to put the match away, shutting out the hosts and staying unbeaten through five matches this season.
In terms of total shots, Durham outshot the Surge 31-1. Nikki Bradshaw (Newtonville, ON) played all 90 minutes, earning a clean sheet.
The Lords stay on the road for a Wednesday, September 28 visit to Belleville where Durham will take on the Loyalist Lancers.
Durham are back at Vaso's Field on Friday, September 30 against the Fleming Knights at 6:00 PM.
