It was a high scoring affair in North Oshawa to begin the weekend, with Erika Bjorgum (Kingman, AB) opening the scoring in the 7th minute. Bjorgum would go on to assist a goal from Stephanie Boivin (Bowmanville, ON) three minutes later before Thomas-Roberts scored in the 13th minute.
One minute later, Olivia Checchia (Bowmanville, ON) scored her first of the evening to make it 4-0, before Thomas-Roberts extended the lead to five in the 18th minute.
Fleming tightened their defence for a 15-minute period, forcing the Lords to the outside. Thomas-Roberts completed the hat trick in the 33rd minute on a pass from athlete of the week Jaime Pye (Oshawa, ON). Pye earned her third assist in under 40 minutes on Checchia's second goal of the game, also scoring her fourth goal of the season.
Thomas-Roberts made it four goals on the evening seconds later before setting up Bjorgum to score her sixth of the year, taking a 9-0 lead into the halftime break.
Less than five minutes into the second half, Pye scored her sixth of the season to put a double-digit score on the board. Thomas-Roberts found the back of the net for the fifth time seconds later.
Sinéad Kappel (Ajax, ON) scored her first goal of the season in the 74th minute, giving the Lords a 12-0 lead and completed the scoring party.
