Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 | Box Score 4 OSHAWA, Ont. – After a tough Saturday, the Durham College baseball team rebounded on Sunday to secure a weekend split. The Lords dropped both games on Saturday to the dominant St. Clair Saints, who remain unbeaten at 10-0, falling 14-1 and 10-0.
 
However, Durham responded with two hard-fought victories on Sunday, defeating the Lambton Lions 10-5 and 12-9. Both teams now sit tied for third in the OCAA standings, each with a 7-3 record.
 
Baylan MacKellar (Courtice, Ont.) had a standout performance for the Lords, going 5-for-9 with two runs scored and five RBIs. His three-run triple in the sixth inning of game one helped seal the win. He was also a standout defensively making an amazing diving catch in right field the inning prior with the Lords hanging on to a one-run lead.
 
On the mound, Nick King (Whitby, Ont.) earned the victory in game one, while freshman Mark Baxter (Oshawa, Ont.) secured the win in game two. Tristan DesLauriers (Oshawa, Ont.) clinched the save in the seventh inning, striking out Jake Prudom to stop Lambton's late five-run rally.
 
The Lords will conclude their six-game home stand on Thursday with a doubleheader against the Centennial Colts (2-5). First pitch at Kinsmen Civic Memorial Stadium is scheduled for 4 p.m.
