OSHAWA, Ont. - The Durham College men's baseball team is thrilled to announce the signing of Wil Clark, a standout talent from Whitby.
The 5-foot-10 pitcher and second baseman brings a wealth of experience to the program, having played for the Whitby Chiefs, Whitby Canadians, Ontario Yankees, and Sinclair Celtics throughout his career.
With a strong skill set and a passion for the game, Clark is eager to contribute to the Lords' success.
Clark's decision to join Durham College was influenced by a few factors, with proximity to home and the program's strong reputation being the most significant.
He's excited to be part of a team that shares his dedication and love for the sport.
"I'm really looking forward to playing for Durham College," Clark said. "Being close to home and joining a well-established program is a perfect fit for me."
Durham College has always prided itself on creating an environment where students can thrive both academically and athletically, and Clark can't wait to take advantage of everything the program has to offer.
"Wil is a versatile player with a great attitude," said Head Coach Scott Cawker. "He's going to fit in perfectly with our team culture and make a positive impact on and off the field."
Having graduated from Sinclair Secondary School in June, Clark will be studying Trades Fundamentals at DC in the fall.
